One idea is to make this a preference with a default, but allow the user to 
change it.  But i'll wait till I see the graphic that get done.

Thanks, I think this makes much more sense.  I forgot that I could do that :)  
That's also why I asked on the list but no one suggested it.  Thanks for 
committing this.
