Hi Matt,

system I spec'ed.

Ah... I am quite familiarized with Documentum's client and its woes.
Part of this project involves implementing a Horde WebDAV server, but I
left this part out on purpose in order not to distract attention. The
Horde WebDAV server would know about Horde VFS and know how to call the
API's. Gollem and your CDS could then call these API's and render
content through different channels (HTML, WebDAV, WAP, etc.). The user
WebDAV interface is built-in to many client Oses and provides a File
share interface to users (its like using Samba but it streams through
HTTP protocol).

It looks like CDS is a very interesting app, and I see some really
interesting similarities between CDS and a DMS. I had thought of taking
on the initial grunt work (in order to establish a structure), hoping
that others would chip in as it gained momentum. Do you think it would
suit your project to use the new VFS_dms backend?

Cheers!
Chris
