[dev] Easier adding of themes and applets

Is there any reason that this couldn't be done in registry.php?  What I am
suggesting is that you set the default values in the class itself but you can
override it with an entry in registry.php.  All that would be necessary is a
check inside the getInfo method to see if the parameters for the applet had
already been defined so that you don't override them.
