[dev] New column highlighting

Just for the records,
I don't like the new column highlighting of the sorting column very much.
Depending on the columns width it produces a huge block of
undistinguishable rows while losing the existing color coding.
And I think the existing column header highlighting is enough to determine
the sorting column.
