As a general note, I'd like to see PERMS_SHOW always being used to show the
"existence" of objects manage with perms, whil PERMS_READ allowing
"access". In this case, PERM_READ would be kept like it is, while
PERMS_SHOW will be used wherever we generate backend "lists", for example
the drop down list on the login screen.
We use this semantic already for application perms and calenders and I'd
like to that being used consistently across the framework.
