My two cents on the icon changes:

I don't really care for the current Compose icon; it's kind of blocky and
doesn't seem to "match" the others well. Revision 1.3 is nice, or revision
1.5 of inbox.gif (the letter being inserted into the envelope) might be
nice, too.
