Yes the framwork had been updated too:

Installing MIME:
install ok: Horde_MIME 0.0.1

the error is actually plural getParts() not getPart():

Fatal error: Call to a member function getParts() on a non-object in
/usr/local/apache2/htdocs/horde/imp/lib/Compose.php on line 875
