I was still himming and hawing over where to put this.  I was leaning 
toward VFS:: simply because I didn't know of any other place where we 
needed this elsewhere in Horde, so it would just be taking up space in 
Util::.  But it looks like Jan found some places to use realPath() in 
some of the admin scripts, so I guess util:: does work out better.

BTW, +1 on Gollem requiring 3.1.
