Project: Horde Search

Hi.

My name is Richard Brenner and I am a "Software Engineering" student
at the Technical University in Vienna (Austria).
I have worked for 2 years in a company as web developer
(http://www.nea.at) and used horde on my personal web server. I
decided to take this project, because my PHP skills are very good and
search algorithms are a very interesting topic. I had 2 courses about
algorithms and I think, I can do this job for you.
My development environment will be a P4 3Ghz with Gentoo Linux and
broadband Internet.
My open source experience goes back to Suse 5.3 where I started to
play around with Linux. I also did system administration for my father
in his company. I set up a Linux file server, Linux firewall and print
server. The Linux box also works as domain master for the windows
boxes.
Now, I'll do the application submission at google and hope that you'll
take me. It would be a great opportunity for me.

Some other details about me:
age 21 (born October 1983)
I live in Vienna
2000, I won a competition called cyberschool, where I created a forum
in Perl and MySQL and my partner did the design. I have been at school
in 2000.
Now, I am involved in a couple of projects at university, where I also
work with PHP.
