The only thing I'd say that's a concern is that you say "assist". 
Summer of Code projects *must* be individual projects. If you are the 
only one who will be doing the work, then you're fine. Also, I'm 
unclear how much of the work is already done - you should be doing the 
work over the summer.

Also, you may be asked to change the name if it gets accepted as an 
official app, but that's minor. :)

If you go ahead with an application I'd encourage you to explore 
potential linkage with Hermes, if that makes sense, and definitely to 
think about how you could link this with Kronolith if possible.
