[dev] PHP 5.x required now ... or ... ?

Just ran the install for framework, and notice that there are now alot of 
'optionally can use' stuff in there, and two that seem to requir 5.x:

Installing RDO:
warning: pear/RDO requires PHP (version >= 5.0, version <= 6.0.0), installed version is 4.4.1
install ok: channel://pear.php.net/RDO-0.1.0


Installing Rampage:
warning: pear/Horde_Rampage requires PHP (version >= 5.0, version <= 6.0.0), installed version is 4.4.1
install ok: channel://pear.php.net/Horde_Rampage-0.1.0

Will horde no longer work with 4.x, or will these just auto-disable 
themselves?
