It's not *too* large, but obviously the smaller, the better. If you

No, it has no desktop. Shell-only and sshd-only. Given my connection is only
80 - 96 kbps, the image will take 9 hours to upload. I'll try to experiment
more, hoping it can be smaller.

Well, I had a limited success trying to install apache2 & php4 in DSL. At
some point I start copying *.so files from the already-running Ubuntu. I'm
afraid that this will reduce stability. Any opinions?
