Btw, while I'm looking at all this, does anyone see a reason not to  
refactor the main Group driver into Group_datatree so that it's more  
on the same level as Group_ldap, etc? I know there are some awkward  
bits to work out with the DataTreeObject subclass, but I'll make that  
work (ah, for php 5 and interfaces...).
