Is there a way to check trash and spam for new mail without them  
showing in the Virtual Inbox?

I have found that if folks don't see the accumulation of trash and  
spam they ofter don't do the maintenance that they should.  I enabled  
the with nav_poll in prefs but I got the above surprise.

This is on today's cvsup.
