Although the API does not yet seem to be optimized for caching large  
amounts of data - I would most definitely *not* want to fallback to  
cookie storage with many KB of data (like what we store w/DIMP  
currently with mailbox caches).  But this would be extremely useful to  
leverage if the browser does happen to have one of the other  
browser-side stores involved.
