The Ansel error, at least, is due to Horde_Core_Ajax_Imple::attach()  
method being called even during the ajax request itself, not just when  
rendering the UI. Is there really a need to call attach in the factory  
instead of when rendering the UI and attaching the ajax action to a UI  
element or am missing something (besides convenience)?

Still looking for the Kronolith issue.
