[dev] Blank lists in prefs = problems with $ui->override?

Hello, using horde-git, I am having problems with global preferences. 
  Most of the lists (time zone, theme, application to display after 
login, ...) are blank.

It seems everything populated via prefsGroup and/or via $ui->override 
in Prefs/Ui.php framework is affected.

Is this a known problem, or am I doing something wrong?
