Speaking for myself, I know of a number of changes I need to make to  
ActiveSync code that would not be BC with Core - these changes I would  
make for 5.0. There are other wishes elsewhere but (at least for the  
code I mostly maintain) these are not important enough to worry about  
rushing to get done for 5.0.
