This is what our major version signifies: If you match a module to a
specific major version it will run within that version - once the major
version switches incompatibilities may arise.

We will release Horde 5.0 rather soon btw.

Start with the skeleton information linked above. In most cases an older
application does not need too many changes to get back into working
state.
