I'm currently puzzled what type of code (bugfix, enhancement,
pre-release apps) to put where and I cannot tell Karim if he asks me.

If we keep the current model, there needs to be some text on it.

If we change (each app has its own versioning) then I think all apps
should be an own repository and each app's master branch should be the
"head", each x.y release should be a branch.

I'm not sure if we need to split up "framework" too.
