Because there is no guarantee that some (non-horde) client code is  
using Horde_Imap_Client to connect to the IMAP server. For email sync,  
an imap adapter is required to be injected into the activesync server.  
We provide Horde_ActiveSync_Imap_Adapter (which is dependent on HIC),  
but client code can use any object that implements the same interface.
