[dev] Status of Horde_Template

Hallo,

I need some clarification on the status of Horde_Template.
There used to be a time when we considered Horde_Template "too slow" for
rendering UI artifacts and rebased most UI on Horde_View and HTML/php masks.

I have a use case where I render some kind of configuration files with
lot of sections out of PHP code. Horde_Template would fit nicely into
this niche, better than an sprintf hell - speed would not be the main
concern.

Do you intend to keep Horde_Template around or is it strictly for legacy
support, possibly going away with H6?
