I don't get a fatal error with php 8.3.11 on ubuntu. The result is the same.

Ah ok I see. But then you are using the package Components with version 
v1.0.0alpha5 and not the latest one in dev-FRAMEWORK_6_0?

 > composer require horde/components:dev-FRAMEWORK_6_0
Does not work for me because of dependencies problem.
