I've only ever used anonyous downlaod CVS before.
Where is the FAQ CVS stored. Can I upload anonymously?

http://horde.org/source/. Check it out anonymously, make your updates, use cvs 
diff to generate a patch (see the CVS documentation/google if you need help 
with that), and submit it to the list.

I'm willing to put a limited amount of time into the project.  I'm 
more interested in the user faq than the admin faq, but could work
on both/either.

And note, I did said limited amount of time.  I can contribute at
best 2-3 hours a week...

What does this mean?  Are we supposed to replace the 2.x stuff with
3.x stuff? Augment the existing stuff with 3.x stuff?  Or at another
tree for the 3.x stuff?  Please advise.

I'd say to add a new section to the FAQ for IMP 3.0, and make sure to 
differentiate it from the 2.2 stuff. But Rich really ought to have veto over 
whatever gets done, if he has time to peek at it... Rich?
