Hey Mike,

the office i'm working for uses quickbooks to manage the
time-data for all employees and for different projects/clients.

the employees enter their times into hermes.
client information is gathered in a turba client-adressbook
project information is gathered in a hermes jobtypes

every month the hermes table gets dumped and builds a .iif
file...a tab separated list that can be imported into the
above mentioned quickboox app.

i use a really simple shell script and some sql statements
that do some subselects. i found all i needed in mysql
documentation...i won't send u the script, but maybe i can help
u a little if u're having problems...

best regards

	luk

Luk,

Are you able to share your automatic export idea? What are you doing
with the time data after you export it?

Mike

Hello Jason!

I'm glad to hear that hermes ist still being developed further, since
we use an almost current cvs version in my office and everybody is happy
with it.

Changes sound good...and if there is an export link again, will that be
hideable by a preference option as in other horde apps? I'd really
appreciate that since i designed an automatic export for all users...

Great Job, keep it on!

Best regards from Germany
