genericstable and IMP

I have a virtualuser table and generics table setup for sendmail that works
like a charm -- except in IMP. Virtusertable still works, but, when I try
and 'send' a message from IMP, it doesn't work at all.. i.e. the 'real'
username stays on the message and not the genericstable name.. I also get: 

X-Authentication-Warning: forest.mydomain.com: apache set sender to
adminsis at mydomain.com using -f

Any suggestions??
