I see the problem as the mail is coming from 'apache at localhost' and not from
'adminsis at localhost'... There's got to be a way to make IMP behave the way
I'd like it to :)?

Show us an example of how the "from" header looks _EXACTLY_ when sent from

No. IMP doesn't require that users actually exist on the machine that IMP is 
running on, for one, and for another.... No.

Maybe you should follow the advice of the first person to respond to you, and 
fix the X-Authentication warning. It's in the FAQ, like they said.
