Postgres authentication failed

I am setting up an horde+imp+postgres  instalation under Solaris 2.6 using 
horde 1.2.4, imp 2.2.4, php 4.0.8 and postgres 7.1. Everything in the 
test.php3 page is green, but when clicking over the horde test link the 
following message showns...  "Warning: Unable to connect to PostgreSQL 
server: Password authentication failed for user 'user' in db_pgsql.inc on 
line 40. But I can enter horde database with this user/password with psql and 
pgaccess.

Any idea about what is going on?
