Horde CVS

is the CVS down?  I am trying to connect to the CVS (Iam following the
Horde CVS FAQ) and i Cannot connect... :(

# cvs -d :pserver:cvsread at cvs.horde.org:/cvs/horde login
Logging in to :pserver:cvsread at cvs.horde.org:2401/cvs/horde
CVS password: (Iam using <horde> as passworde)
cvs login: failed to open /root/.cvspass for reading: No such file or
directory
cvs [login aborted]: fatal error: exiting
