My weak Spanish skills lead me to believe that this is another criticism
of the lack of IMP DB documentation, and another request for help with
it.

Subject: reaction from horde if sql goes foobar

I have my preferences stored in sql. My sql server went foobar because I had a
process run away and do bad stuff. Anyways, during this period, I could not
login to horde. It wouldn't even go to authenticate to my imap server.

Is this related?

I don't see how it couldn't be... I guess I'm unsure what you're asking.

I use an sql server for storing prefs. My sql server was unavailable for a
period of time. It just so happens that I could not login to horde during that
time. I am wondering if that is the reason why I couldn't login to horde or are
they completely unrelated and I had another problem going on You should still
be able to login and do stuff without preferences set.

Things work fine if the sql server simply goes away. If it's hung, though...
things were probably getting stuck just trying to connect to the database, and
there's nothing that Horde can do about that...

ok, that is what was happening, it wouldn't even auth to my imap server and
eventually timed out on the page.

Cool, thank you.

Subject: Re: [horde] disappearing menu bar

well, i think i found out why this was happening.
I have a link to my webmail embedded in a frames site and the target to the main
link is to a frame named "main". the same as the links on the menu bar at the
bottom. So that is why it was "overwriting" the menubar with the link.

This would be a great FAQ item.
