Actually, it's stuffed in by a pop server.  Someone popped the
mailbox between the time you deleted the message and the next time
you accessed it via IMAP (or IMP).  It means nothing.  It's safe to
delete it.  Just keep in mind that if the mailbox is accessed via
POP again, the POP access will be just a tad bit slower since it will
regenerate that message and stuff it back into the mailbox.

Newer POP servers don't do that anymore.
