I need some clarifications due to conflicting statements on horde.org

1.  Is mcrypt required?

No

2.  Is MS SQL supported?

Why? I suppose it should work, assuming the .sql creates are that
backward compatible. I am presently trying to build a database
using Sybase.

Test.php reveals:
All good except:
MCAL Support:  No
Mcrypt Support: No

I do have MCAL, for calendaring, but I do NOT have mcrypt and all 
is well.
