Pete,

what are you really looking for? If you need to know the SQL table
structure, having a look at your /scripts/db/... will tell you a lot. Or do you mean
the whole mechanism? Than working thru the code isn't the worst idea...

But if you gave any more hints (system? SQL? PHP? horde ver? apps?), maybe
we could provide some information.
