[horde] Login Check

Hi there, I have a curious question about HORDE (IMP) authentication. I
am using CURL to bypass the IMP login screen by using another login
system that does some other stuff too. It works great, moooost of the
time. However, randomly, the login is failing to function properly,
reason not known yet but wrong password isn't the problem. However,
even in a login failed situation, a session is still created and
returned to my curl script.
My question is that is there a way to confirm by some method in HORDE to
verify that the login was successful - in my other systems I can call a
method isUserLoggedIn() and that works great but as yet, haven't
isolated one from HORDE...anyone have any thoughts?
