[horde] IMP message view error

I am getting an error when trying to view messages in IMP.  The error  
is as follows:

I am using the latest CVS version of horde, but this error has been  
occurring for several weeks now (I am just now getting around to  
debugging it).  Any ideas what is causing this?

On a side note, I am also getting this warning:

error] PHP Notice:  Undefined index:  charset in  
/home/httpd/vhosts/webmail/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php on line 348

How do I fix this?
