[horde] Which compression method?

Just a quick question to throw out....

I'm wondering what most people use for their horde/imp installations?

Do you enable the native zlib.output_compression ability of PHP, or do you 
set the horde.php preference to compress pages?

Any advantage of one over the other, since I noticed you can't enable both 
simultaneously (though there's no point to anyway).
