[horde] getting current username within registry.php

I use Horde/IMP/Turba cvs, with IMP as the auth 'engine'.

I'd like to get the current username when horde/config/registry.php is
read, but it doesn't seem that $imp['user'] is set yet.

Where is the username hiding at that point?

Hmm.  Is the registry read and 'sessionized' before login?
