[horde] Using DB2 as database

I was wondering how it is possible to use IBM's DB2 as backend database.
I looked through the config files, but was not able to find a way to set the kind of database.
On the website it is said that several databases can be used, because PEAR is used
for the database access.
Nevertheless I'm stuck.

My environement is as follows:

Redhat Linux 8.0
Apache 2.0.46 with OpenSSL 0.9.7b
PHP 4.3.2

I'm pretty sure that someone has already tried to get Horde to run with DB2.
I appreciate any help.
