[horde] Horde/Imp & MySQL

Greetings ... Silly over-visited question (I'm sure) to follow :

I've installed Horde-2.2.3 & Imp-3.2.1 on a Cobalt RaQ4. Basically things
work well...if I keep it at just that I can send and recieve mail, switch to
IMAP servers all over the place. Frankly, I like it.

The trouble begins when I want to save preferences, in a MySQL 4.1.0 database
of course.

MySQL is running, the database is there, it's got sessions (mostly me getting
it's status) ... now I'm a pretty good SysAdmin, and I HATE databases but all
of my DBA riends are drunk and/or stoned right now (Tis Friday afterall) so
I'm left to deal with this myself.

[nativecode=Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket

I'm thinking that the "Array" in sql.php isn't getting all the information it
needs? I had thought I'd given all the information in the other configs but
this array is empty, should there be something there? Is it getting that from
somewhere else? Is this really easy and I'm making it harder than it needs to
be?

Thanks guys and gals.
