[horde] left horde menu => put the icons on top; howto do ?

hi all,

I'm using the latest HEAD checkout of horde.

I would like to know how I can get the module icons to the top position 
right next where the option and horde icons reside.

I figured out that I can turn off the left side bar menu through the 
preferences. => Show the Horde Menu on the left?

then the left menu is gone, but I would like to have some icons on top 
of the horde page for navigation.


in all other application it works with the menu.php.
but in horde/conf/ there is no menu.php, and if I set up one, it doesn't 
have any affect at all.
