I was just about to send a message to the horde list to ask for help ;-).
The most important that needs to be done is to update the documentation in
docs/ mainly the various INSTALL files.

No and yes. What exactly do you have in mind?

Sending patches for the docs/INSTALL files, locale/en_US/help.xml files or
whatever documentation you find that's outdated.
