Funny I always thought the point of competition was to give the user a 
choice.  Personally I use Mail.app for most email, but I really like 
the IMP UI.  I think not making it like Eudora or Outlook adds to the 
appeal and benefit of running IMP.  One of my biggest complaints about 
Open Source in general is the lack of originality when is comes to UI 
design.  But that's a different discussion.  If the Eudora or Outlook 
UI is what you're after then run Eudora or Outlook.  Just my 2 cents.  
I really like IMP and my users really like IMP.  Given the choice many 
have stopped using Mozilla or OE in favor of IMP.

IMP and all the Horde apps are great and I look forward to deploying 
more of them in the future.
