[horde] modifing an existing application

I am trying to start learning the Horde Framework by playing around with an 
existing application, Hermes.  I copied all of the Hermes files into a new 
directory, hermtest.

Additionally, I changed all references of Hermes::, $hermes, etc to hermtest.

I added a registry entry for my 'hermtest' application, but it causes the 
application to break.  If I remove the registry entry, things go back to 
normal.

The registry entry is identical to the hermes one except for all references to 
heremes are changed to hermtest.  

What else am I missing?
