Ok, you're right for most available settings, but I was asked if this
would be possible for the "Identity Options".
We lock the fullname and the from_address which we set by prefs_hook
to the information stored in our ldap-server. One of my collegues asked
if we could show this information to the user even if it is locked.
but not showing the information is no problem for me.
Another problem is that we lock to the default-identity (the user cannot
create multiple identities but the UI shows the 'select your identity'
and the delete-button.
$_prefs['identityselect'] and $_prefs['deleteidentity'] cannot be locked
since they are type=special.
if the user want to change i.e. his reply-to address or his signature he
has to select "default identity" in the select box and he is presented
the option to create a new identity and to delete a identity.
This is very misleading to the user.
If $_prefs['default_identity'] is locked the identity select box and the
delete button must not be shown and the 'default identity' must be
selected.
