I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by "something the mail folder
sharing" but with filters, often partially generated by the users domain, in
multiple ldap entries in sources.php, I've always been able to have the 
control
that I need.

If you aren't able to get it going, you might want to post more detailed
information.
