[horde] Cannot write to configuration file??

 I installed Horde framework (no additional modules yet) and everything
seems to work correctly I can get to the administrator screen and can even
change/modify some of the settings.  When I try to generate the
configuration then I get this error:
  Could not save a backup configuration
/home/webhome/vmail/horde/config/../config/conf.php.bak.

  Writing not possible. You can either use the available upgrade script or
copy manually the code below to
/home/webhome/vmail/horde/config/../config/conf.php.

It looks like the path it is using is wrong (eg. the "config/../config").
Does anybody know where this can be fixed so that I can put in a correct
path?  It should have write permissions to the conf.php file but it is just
not being able to write it because of the incorrect path.
