[horde] imp3 - How to auth by URL?

Hi All,

Im currently working on a web portal and this will handle the login
info for IMP authentication too, meaning, after a user logins to my
portal, he can click on the link to IMP to view his mailbox.

Im currently using imp3 + horde2.  I have also gone through login.php
and redirect.php but could not find a way to bypass the imp login
authentication.  Kindly advise.
