Actually, you probably want to look at the 'ipmap' authentication 
driver (combined with your current authentication driver using the 
'composite' driver) since this driver is designed for the exact 
situation you are describing.  Of course the 'ipmap' driver has not yet 
been completed so that's a small roadblock.
