[horde] SQL session cleanup question

We are using MySQL based session storage, defined through the Custom Session
Handler tab of the Horde Setup screen.  I noticed that even with no active
users, each session that hasn't been garbage collected shows up either like:

hordeMessageStacks|a:2:{s:10:\"javascript\";a:0:{}s:6:\"status\";a:0:{}}')

or

hordeMessageStacks|a:1:{s:10:\"javascript\";a:0:{}}')

Is that normal behaviour?
