OK, I'll buy that.

I did upgrade the c-client to v2004d (a.k.a. 2.63) from the
UWashington Pine package.

Is this perhaps wrong?

Is there somewhere else I should be looking for traces/debug
data?  Maybe some headers I didn't know or overlooked to copy
into the chroot?
